The geometric shaped polymer clay cutters, like miniature cookie cutters, were originally designed so that any artist wanting to cover polymer clay beads made with our bead making tools could do it using our clay cutters.  Simply roll clay through a pasta machine on a thin setting and cut a front and a back to cover a bead. There are a multitude of uses for polymer clay cutters that make them a great addition to your jewelry bead making tools.  Our clay cutters leave a beveled edge.  See our tutorials:"How to Make Personalized Picture Frames" and "Geometric Clay Cutter Fun."  The shape cutters can be used to make jewelry elements.  The geometric shapes will enhance some custom jewelry projects, and can be used as mosaic elements, as well as many many other applications.

I  frequently use our clay tool to measure my polymer clay when I am making beads.  This is the fastest way if one has a pasta machine dedicated to clay.  I use the large square cutter to mix clay color formulas.  Note the beveled edge in the center of the image to the right.

Canine cutters are fun for clay or for cutting dog treat cookies! Use for either clay or your favorite dog treat recipe!  The plastic used to make our tools is food safe!  bead making tools should be dedicated to clay once used for clay. 

I have a friend who makes her own greeting cards, she loves to add the canine polymer clay elements to her cards for dog loving friends, and also makes clay frames for her cards.  Paper crafters, don’t overlook the versatility of polymer clay!
